My husband and I live local and came for a weekend getaway. Two night all-inclusive. I am. Repeat guest and have been coming here for 20 years through their remodel and everything. This trip is worse than disappointing. The all-inclusive is a RIP OFF and management is rude and unwilling to compromise in honor of their representations. The all-inclusive package includes a " 25 minute spa massage, 25 minute spa facial, herbal wrap or mineral bath". They SAY when you both book and check in that you get that or you can upgrade to another service and pay the difference. The menu price of those services is $65. We went to upgrade to a 50 minute massage they say we can only use a "credit for the discounted price of the service of $40 towards the cost of the upgraded service. I spoke with spa reception, management and hotel management and they were all rude and would not budge. They just kept repeating how they do the accounting of the service and would not even make an exception to honor what our expectations were. I wanted to pay the difference of the 50 minute massage of $110 and the 25 minute of $65 = $45. They refused to honor it. Furthermore, the unlimited drink of the day is disappointing. I think they choose a well drink that will only appeal to a minority population. I mean if your a cheap gin & tonic fan, or cheap whisky sour fan you'd do well. However, that drink I'd say isn't a mainstream popular drink, especially for a weekend crowd. Read the small print. They add a daily resort fee of $16 per day which is pretty typical. HOWEVER. IN ADDITION, they automatically add an 18% gratuity to EVERY all-inclusive item. So you can't go in like a true all-inclusive and not have to be paying additional $ the whole trip as the costs rack up. Every meal, 18% additional you have to pay out of pocket. Spa services in addition to the included "spa massage" you have to pay an additional gratuity automatically added to the cost costing an additional $17 per person on that item alone. Drinks beside the drink of the day you can get house wine or well drinks or draft beer and have to pay $2 per drink PLUS an automatically added gratuity. So you may think it's a good deal but be prepared to pay an additional $120 at least per night in additional to your package price.

I went in the other day for an aromatherapy massage. I've had many massages before, even at the spa, but this was the worst massage. It was more like a skin rub than a massage, and the 50 minute massage was only 40 minutes, including taking my robe off. The whole thing felt rushed, and my muscles didn't feel like they'd even been "touched." Pretty disappointed considering how expensive a massage is at the spa. My mother also received a massage, with a different masseuse, and she said her massage was incredible and she really massaged her body (versus just rubbing her skin raw).

This place has great service. Unfortunately, the entire hotel needs upgrading. The spa is gorgeous however, the rooms need attention. I will say one thing...I slept like a ROCK on that bed. My mattress was super comfy. Honestly, that bed saved this rating from 1 star to 3!

Was here for a wedding over the weekend. My wife and I loved the decor and ambiance in the resort. We were cheerfully greeted by valet and was in love with the service from that point until the end. Highly recommend the place to couples.

If you have been dreaming of a very special wedding, vow renewal, bridal shower, party, and don't know where to start, this is the place to be. When you first walk in to the hotel, you get a feel of "Great Gatsby" grandeur, with Chandeliers and ornate woodwork throughout. The best part is that everything you need is here, You have numerous room options to choose from for your event, a place for you and your guests to stay overnight, a spa with numerous therapies and services, a lounge piano bar and so much more. You'll actually be able to enjoy your guests in a smaller more intimate setting than you would get from the assembly line hotel chains. I was clueless on how to plan my event and when I met Maria Touloumis Assistant Director of Catering, as corny as it sounds, my dream event came true. She not only saw my vision, she was able to work within my budget, had excellent suggestions and made sure everything was executed to perfection. Honestly, if you have an event and need an amazing place to have it, this is the place. You'll be happy you did. Andrea S.
